Alice Mae O'Connor, 85, died June 13, 1996.
A native of Washington, D.C., she was the widow of Robert M. O'Connor Sr. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church and its Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Shirley M. Michael of Virginia Beach, Kathleen Kirkley of Gloucester, Va.; four sons, Robert M. O'Connor Jr. of Oxon Hill, Md., Maurice R. O'Connor of Chester, Md., and Gerald F. O'Connor and Charles F. O'Connor, both of Arlington, Va.; a sister, Helen E. Knight of Tyson's Corner, Va.; 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in George P. Kalas Funeral Home, Oxon Hill. Burial will be in Washington National Cemetery. Family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kempsville Lions Club. The body was sent from Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, to George P. Kalas Funeral Home for services and burial.
