Juanita E. Williams, 66, of the 400 block of Woodruff St., died June 14, 1996, in Obici Hospital.
A native of Nansemond County, Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Johnnie P. and Mrs. Thelma Lawrence Faulk and widow of William A. Williams. She was a member of 6th St. Baptist Church and its J.V. Washington Usher Board, a pastor's aide, and a 1947 graduate of Nansemond County Training School.
Survivors include four daughters, Evelyn M. Wiggins of Richmond, Thelma Barksdale of Passaic, N.J., Mattie Turner and Nicole Williams, both of Suffolk; five sons, Johnnie A. Williams, Lee Thomas Williams, Howard M. Williams, all of Suffolk, Eddie Lawrence of Willimborg, N.J. and Boyce Williams of Atlanta; a sister, Rose Faulk Horne-Holland of Suffolk; five brothers, Lee Thomas Faulk, Theodore Faulk, Johnnie P. Faulk, Howard Faulk and Albert L. Faulk, all of Suffolk; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two sons-in-law, three daughters-in-law, six sisters-in-law; and a brother-in-law.
A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in 6th Street Baptist Church by the Rev. J.V. Washington. Burial will be in Corinth Chapel Church Cemetery. The body will be taken from Peebles Funeral Home to the church at 11 a.m. The family will be at 2504 Woodland Trail, Suffolk.
