Fred A. Davis Jr., 65, died June 15, 1996, in his residence.
A native of Yonkers, N.Y., Mr. Davis was the widower of Mattia A. Davis. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service. Also he was retired from Norfolk Packing.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Lorraine and Linwood Archer of Virginia Beach; a son and his wife, Frank and Robyn Davis of Virginia Beach; a sister, Elinor Roule of Massachusetts; three grandchildren, April Reyes, Casey Archer, Francesea Davis; and a great-grandchild, Gabriella Cruz.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday by Father James Noto in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park with military honors. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
