Let me get this straight:
The leadership of the Southern Baptist Convention meeting in New Orleans, sin city U.S.A., has decided that the Walt Disney Corp., which brought us such provocative and offensive offerings as ``The Lion King,'' ``The Little Mermaid'' and ``Beauty and the Beast,'' is somehow anti-family values. Apparently, the company is guilty of the crime of extending corporate health-care benefits to nontraditional families of employees.
This corporation is also criticized for tolerating freedom of artistic expression among its international subsidiaries. In further acts of tolerance, Disney refused to cancel ``Gay Day'' at Disney World.
So the Disney Corp. is guilty of promoting compassion, tolerance, inclusiveness and freedom of expression.
What are these religious leaders upset about?
