Dolores M. Smith, 64, of the 4500 block of Marlwood Way, died June 17, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
Born in Camden, N.J., Mrs. Smith was a Catholic. She had worked with her husband, Tom, a member of the Professional Golfers Association, at various golf clubs throughout his career.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas O. Smith; a daughter, Carolann Rosen of West Palm Beach, Fla.; five sons, Thomas M. Smith, Patrick Smith, William Smith, all of Virginia Beach, Stephen Smith of Wichita, Kan.; Michael Smith of Delran, N.J.; a brother, Robert Jacoby of Mantua, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by two daughters, Kathleen Seydak and Karen Gress.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Mrs. Smith will be sent to Schetter Funeral Home, Cherry Hill, N.J., for the funeral service and burial. The family requests that flowers be omitted locally and suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or that floral tributes be sent to Schetter Funeral Home, 304 West Route 70, Cherry Hill, N.J. 08002.
