Glen W. Hazen, 83, a native of Vermont, died June 17, 1996.
He was retired from the U.S. Coast Guard, a retired lieutenant of the U.S. Navy Reserve and a retired officer of the U.S. Merchant Marines. He was a member of the Masons of the St. Paul Lodge (NU)14 in Providence, R.I. Also, he was a member of the VW Club of Tidewater.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Hazen; a brother, John Hurd of N. Springfield, Vt.; and two daughters, Sandra Smith of Middletown, R.I., Glenda du Charme of Greenfield Center, N.Y.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
