Barbara A. Leary, 62, of the 4800 block of Station House Lane, died June 17, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
A native of Staten Island, N.Y., she was retired from civil service.
Survivors include three daughters, Kathleen Roberta Jacobs of Pittsburgh, Nora Elizabeth Lawson and her husband, Robert, of Virginia Beach, and Patricia Ann Blake and her husband, Peter, of Shalimar, Fla.; a son, John Patrick Leary and his wife, Glynda, of Virginia Beach; two brothers, John Haughom of Bradenton, Fla., and Paul David Haughom of New York; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, James Michael Leary.
A funeral will be conducted at 7 p.m. Friday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. Paul D. Moore. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
