CORRECTION

Sharp-eyed readers pointed out the misspelling of Colombia -

twice - in the lead editorial Monday, ``AWOL conservatives.'' The

sentence should have read: ``More Colombians die from American

cigarettes than Americans die from Colombian cocaine.'' Colombia is

a long way from Columbia, S.C., Columbia University and the District
