Charles Eugene Rogers, 35, of the 4500 block of Pleasant Ave., died June 18, 1996, in Chesapeake.
Mr. Rogers, a native of Lakehurst, N.J., was a delivery driver for Chesapeake Used Auto Parts. He had been a cook for Saxby's, The Olive Garden, Black Eyed Pea and the Old Country Buffet in Portsmouth. He had also been a teacher of cosmetology at Ann's Beauty Academy in Norfolk, as well as Zelda Seymour's Beauty Academy.
Mr. Rogers is survived by his brother, Reynold R. Rogers of Norfolk.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Eastern Virginia, 5825 Arrowhead Drive, Suite 104, Virginia Beach, Va. 23462.
