Joshua ``Sonny'' Griffin Jr. of the 9500 block of 28th and Bay died June 19, 1996.
He was employed with G. & G. Automotive Co.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Griffin of Chesapeake; three daughters, Michelle Griffin, Katrina Griffin and Erica Griffin, all of Chesapeake; a son, Joshua D. Griffin of Chesapeake; five sisters, Lillian Munden, Arletha Middleton and Brenda Griffin of Virginia Beach, Viola Sanderson of Norfolk, and Eunice Harris of Laurel, Md.; two brothers, Willis Griffin and Robert L. Griffin, both of Norfolk; three grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. George Munden in the chapel of Community Funeral Home, Norfolk. Burial will be in Mount Bethel Church Cemetery, Virginia Beach. The family will be at 1112 Rembrandt Court, Virginia Beach.
