Ella R. Jones, 83, of the 23000 block of Whitehead Road, died June 20, 1996, in Sentara Hampton General Hospital, Hampton.
She was a member of Bryant Baptist Church, Capron, Va.
Survivors include two daughters, Ivory Claude of Hampton and Juanita Pearson of Hackensack, N.J.; five sons, George N. Jones of Chesapeake, Al Jones and Ralph B. Jones, both of Courtland, Raymond Jones of Philadelphia, Pa., and Jerry Jones of Chicago, Ill.; a brother, Grady Rispus of Woodland, N.C.; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Anderson W. Clary Jr. in Bryant Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Engram Funeral Home, Courtland, is in charge.
