Evelyn Shepherdson Wright, 90, died Wednesday, June 26, 1996, at home.
Evelyn was a native of Wytheville and was a Peninsula resident for the past 45 years.
Survivors include her husband, Wilbur Wright; three daughters, Nancy Wright Marsh of Lynchburg, Mary W. Poole of Newport News and Helen W. Bottenfield of Virginia Beach; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at ``The Hidenwood,'' 50 Wellesley Drive. Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church by the Rev. Joseph Winfree, pastor. Interment will be in Peninsula Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church, 133 Deep Creek Road, Newport News, Va. 23606. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.
