Eva Ree Liverman Cartwright, 85, of the 1300 block of Holly Street, died June 27, 1996, in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Cartwright was born in Murfreesboro, N.C., and was the widow of John Edward Cartwright. She was a retired cafeteria worker for Oscar F. Smith High School, Chesapeake. She was a member of South Norfolk Baptist Church, Chesapeake and Chesapeake First Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Eva Ree Paspas of Chesapeake; a son, Enoch Frank Cartwright of Chesapeake; a sister, Virginia Wentz of Suffolk; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Roger D. Mardis in South Norfolk Baptist Church. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel is in charge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. and at the residence at all other times. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vision 2000 land fund of the South Norfolk Baptist Church.
