Robert Folkes Moore, U.S. Army lieutenant commander, (ret.), 87, of Plantation, Fla., died June 25, 1996.
He was born Feb. 12, 1909, in Berkley, Va., the son of the late Woodbury Langdon Moore and Andra Cory Moore. Mr. Moore was a graduate of Maury High School, Class of 1927, and the United States Military Academy at West Point, Class of 1932. During his military career, he served in the Panama Canal Zone, Hawaii, the Philippines and Okinawa. He retired from the Army in 1957 and assumed a second career as a teacher of mathematics with the Dade County Schools at North Miami High School, Miami, Fla.
He is survived by a nephew, Robert Langdon Moore of Arlington, Va., and a niece, Andra Nash English of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery.
