Minnie Cabe Scott, 99, of the 200 block of Spring Ave., died June 29, 1996, in Roanoke Valley Nursing Home, Rich Square.
Mrs. Scott, a homemaker, was born in Macon County and was the widow of George D. Scott. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Franklin, N.C.
Survivors include three daughters, Virginia Scott Wiggins of Murfreesboro, Marie S. Isaac, and husband, Mack Isaac, of Newland, and Dorothy S. Vick of Hendersonville; and two grandchildren, Mark S. Vick of Hendersonville and Catherine Marie Vick of Raleigh.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bethel United Methodist Church, Franklin, N.C., by the Rev. Kevin Turner. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be shipped from Garrett's Funeral Home, Murfreesboro, to Bryant Funeral Home, Franklin. Memorial donations may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, Franklin, N.C. 28734.
