Almeda B. Storms, 93, of the 8800 block of Old Ocean View Road, died June 30, 1996, in her home.
Mrs. Storms was born in Bladenboro, N.C., and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Manley Storms; three daughters, Dolly Jean Storms of Norfolk, Mary Elizabeth Spears of Indian Harbor Beach, Fla., and Eva Rae Williams of St. Charles, Mo.; six sons, Oscar Lee Storms of Newport News, James P. Storms of Lumberton, N.C., Newton A. Storms of Greenville, N.C., Jerry D. Storms of New London, Conn., Dewey Edward Storms of Norfolk and David A. Storms of Chesapeake; a sister, Lola Lynn of Washington, N.C.; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Grace Baptist Church by the Rev. Don Karnes. Burial will be in Peninsula Memorial Park. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
