Eugene ``Bro'' Vaughn, 76, of the 1700 block of Weaver St., died June 28, 1996, in Chesapeake.
He was born in South Norfolk and was a member of Calvary Church of God in Christ. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Gracie L. Vaughn; a daughter, Emma Jones of Chesapeake; a son, Eugene Vaughn Jr. of Chesapeake; a sister-in-law, Essie Mae Vaughn of Norfolk; a brother-in-law, Horace C. Parham Jr. of Chesapeake; a son-in-law, Sims L. Jones of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Pretlow & Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake. A wake will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
