James W. Hoggard
BOYKINS - James Wright Hoggard, 72, died Monday, July 1, 1996.
Mr. Hoggard was a member of the Berean Baptist Church, a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans, and served in the U.S. Army in World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Askew Hoggard; four daughters, Connie H. Moseley of La Crosse, Va., Cleo H. Bass of Franklin, Edna H. Bales of Severn, N.C., Phyllis H. West of Cofield, N.C.; three sisters, Nettie H. Garrett of Goochland, Va., Addie ``Gail'' Garrett of Windsor, N.C., Nancy Embler of Williamston, N.C.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held today at 11 a.m. in the Berean Baptist Church, Boykins, by the Rev. Charles W. Alvis. Burial will be in the Beechwood Cemetery, Boykins. The family will receive friends at home. Donations may be made to the Berean Baptist Church. Purviance Funeral Home, Boykins, is handling arrangements.
