KENNETH W. LINYEAR

Kenneth W. ``Kenny'' Linyear, 30, of the 300 block of Nicholson St., died June 30, 1996, in his home.

Mr. Linyear, a native of Brooklyn, N.Y., was a member of New Community Church of God in Christ, Portsmouth.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila R. Linyear; two sons, Breon and Keon Linyear, both of Norfolk; his mother, Lucille Linyear Faulks of Portsmouth; seven sisters, Renee Frazier of Fairfield, Calif., Cheryl Perry, Margaret Harvey, both of Portsmouth, Lessie Myles of Chesapeake, Daisy Smith, Keithe John, and Andanita Bynum, all of Norfolk; a brother, Samuel Linyear Jr. of Norfolk; a stepfather, Thomas Faulks; a stepmother, Katie Linyear; maternal grandmother, Sophia Taylor; paternal grandmother, Annie Linyear; mother-in-law, Mary Jenkins; and special brothers, Walter Taylor and Darryl Woodson; special sister, Leslie Tate; and a host of aunts including, Barbara Walker; and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Samuel Linyear Sr.

The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in New Community Church of God in Christ by Bishop Ted Thomas Sr. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 10 a.m. Friday. The family will be at the home of his mother, 329 Broad St., Portsmouth, and will assemble there for the funeral.
