Virginia Williams Baldwin, 83, died July 3, 1996, at Maryview Hospital.
Mrs. Baldwin, formerly of Godwin, N.C., was the widow of David R.P. Baldwin Sr. She was a member of Cottage Place United Methodist Church and the Esther Chapter 37, Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, David R.P. Baldwin Jr. and wife, Bertha, of Chesapeake; two daughters, Doris Jeane Baldwin Pruett and husband, E.J., of Ranger, Texas, and Jenny Baldwin Landin and husband, J.C., of Chesapeake. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Services are pending with Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel. Memorials may be made to Cottage Place United Methodist Church.
