Brenda Rutledge Burton died July 3, 1996, in her 45th year.
Mrs. Burton was the loving mother of Troy Jeffrey Childers and Amanda Childers and the late Bridget, Ashley, and Barbie Burton; dear sister of Jefferson Rutledge of Miami, Fla., Dennis Rutledge of Augusta, Ga., Margaret Hite, Charles Curtis, and Robert Curtis, all of Danville, Va., and the late Charlotte Rowland and Cary ``Buddy'' Curtis, formerly of Danville. She was the devoted grandmother of David Cynar, Ashlee Marsh and Nirvanna Childers.
The family will receive friends at Kellum Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, today from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will be at Rosewood Memorial Park.
