James Aloysius Foley Jr., 64, of the 1000 block of George St., died July 5, 1996, in his residence.
Mr. Foley, a native of Jersey City, N.J., had lived in Norfolk since 1986. He retired from Public Service Electric and Gas in Secaucus, N.J., as a senior clerk. He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose and AARP.
Survivors include a daughter, Noreen Baker of Pennsville, N.J.; a son, James Booth of Pennsville; a sister, Mary Ann McGuire of Chesapeake; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at noon Monday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Snellings Funeral Home, George Washington Highway Chapel, today from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m.
