Donald J. Watson, 44, of the 1400 block of 7th St., died July 5, 1996. He was a native of Virginia.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Watson; a daughter, Denise Bradley; his mother, Elnora Watson; a sister, Nancy Watson of Washington, D.C.; three brothers, James Watson Jr. of Portsmouth, Dean Woodson of New York and Ronald Watson of Portsmouth; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday by Elder Estella Woods in True Vine Holiness Church, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will begin Monday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Family and friends will assemble at the residence at 10:15 a.m. for the procession to the church. Serenity Funeral Home is in charge.
