ALFRED J. ROLLISON

Alfred Joyner Rollison, 69, of the 33400 block of Old Nottaway Road, died July 6, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mr. Rollison was a native of Sussex County and was the son of the late John Alfred and Pearlie Joyner Rollison. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a longtime employee of Franklin Equipment Company in the special projects department. He was a member of the Franklin American Legion and a charter member of the Franklin Moose Lodge. He was a Protestant.

Survivors include his wife, Lin Rollison; two sons, Benny Rollison and his wife, Mary, and Mark Rollison and his wife, Joyce, all of Franklin; two sisters, Grace Hartman and Mildred Keeter Singco, both of Norfolk; two brothers, Roscoe Simms of Courtland and Lee ``Doodle'' Simms of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Rene, Nicole and Trey Rollison. Mr. Rollison was predeceased by two sisters, Rebecca Lowe and Mary Anna McKenzie.

A graveside funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Southampton Memorial Park with the Rev. Lafayette Wilkins officiating. The family will receive friends at Wright Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today and suggest that memorials be made to the Texie Camp Marks Children's Center, 700 Campbell Ave., Franklin, Va. 23851.
