WOODROW M. UNDERWOOD SR.

Woodrow Morris Underwood Sr., 82, of the 1800 block of Arrowwood St., died July 7, 1996, in his residence.

Mr. Underwood was born in Marion County, Ala., and was a Baptist. He was a retired U.S. Navy chief aviation metal-smith and was also a retired Realtor. He was a member of Corinthian Masonic Lodge (NU)266 AF & AM, Norfolk Scottish Rite Bodies and Khedive Temple of the Shrine.

Survivors include his wife, Mary McKay Underwood; two sons, Woodrow M. Underwood Jr. of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Mark D. Underwood of Norfolk; a sister, Leenora Wilson of Birmingham, Ala.; and five grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by the Rev. Paul D. Moore. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Shiloh Christian Church Cemetery, Pulaski, Va. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Alzheimer's & Related Disorders, 20 Koger Center, Norfolk, Va. 23502.
