The Generic Theater's ``Third Annual New Plays for Dog Days Festival'' will hold performances Wednesday through Sunday.
During the final week, Aug. 9, all productions will be repeated in front of a panel of judges for two awards ``Top Dog'' and ``Pick of the Litter.'' The shows are at 912 W. 21st St. in Norfolk.
On July 17, 18, 19 and 20 at 8 p.m. and July 21 at 2 p.m. the show will be ``Eat Your Heart,'' a one-act comedy by Bob Boehler. This play, a heartwarming tale of reckoning, is about two New Yorkers approaching middle age with not much to show for it.
