Thelma May Rhodes, 80, of the 900 block of London Blvd, died Sunday, July 14, 1996, in Portsmouth.
Mrs. Rhodes, a native of Danville, Va., was the widow of Carl H. Rhodes Sr., and a member of Alexander Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan R. Watson of Smithfield, Va.; a stepson, Carl Rhodes Jr. of Danville; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Olive Branch Cemetery. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, Portsmouth.
