Marjorie Dean Deaver, our beloved mother, passed away July 13, 1996 in her residence at 2322 Indian Trail.
Mrs. Deaver was a native of Grifton, N.C., and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Parham Linwood Deaver.
Survivors include her mother, Myrtle L. Jackson of Dothan, Ala.; four daughters, Patricia Flower of Portsmouth, Joanie Duncan of Elizabeth City, N.C., Kathy Hague of Tappahannock, Va., and Brenda Lotz of Suffolk; a son, Jimmie Deaver of Highland Springs, Va.; two sisters, Aileen Rouse of Panama City, Fla. and Mary Brackens of Dothan; a brother, Allen Jackson of Kinston, N.C.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, by Bishop Roger Holland. Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. The family will receive friends at the residence at 2322 Indian Trail, Suffolk.
