Earl Ross, 71, of the 1900 block of 7th Ave., died June 24, 1996 in his residence.
He was born in Atlantic City, N.J., and was a taxi driver.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Dorsey and Charles Dorsey of Chesapeake; a sister, Delores C. August of Providence, R.I.; a brother, Norman Ross of Kunsan, Korea; and two grandchildren, Charles Dorsey and Cerise Ross. He was predeceased by his mother, Mrs. Hyler Ross.
A graveside service will be held in Hampton at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hampton National Cemetery, Phoebus Section. Family and friends will depart 1301-H Ivy Trail, Chesapeake, at 10:20 with the funeral procession. Chatman Funeral Home, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
