Larry Dean Conner Sr., 44, of the 1300 block of 18th St., died July 19, 1996. He was a native of Gatesville, N.C.
Survivors include a daughter, Melissa Ann Swindell of Portsmouth; a son, Larry Dean Conner Jr. of Portsmouth; his parents, Letha Stephenson Conner and Raymond G. Conner Sr., both of Chesapeake; four sisters, Sharon Perron of Holly, Mich., Teresa Payne of Stumpy Point, N.C., Denise Leighton and Sandra Noble, both of Chesapeake; a brother, Raymond G. Conner Jr. of Virginia Beach.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday by Pastor Arthur Slye in Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Aulander Cemetery, Aulander, N.C., at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 to 5 p.m.
