Ella M. Dixon, of the first block of Harbor Court, died July 17, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Dixon, a native of Isle of Wight County, Carrolton, Va., was the widow of Herbert F. Dixon. She was a legal secretary. Mrs. Dixon was a member of Saint John A.M.E. Church, Norfolk, Brock Hunter Fellowship Club, and the Birthday Club.
Survivors include two sisters, Laura Parker of Patterson, N.J., Celia Rhea of Portsmouth; two nieces, Shirley Morris and Roberta Hollomon, both of New York; a nephew, Robert Jordan of New York; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Cemetery, Brooklyn, N.Y. Cranford Funeral Home, Brooklyn, is in charge. Local arrangements are being handled by Hale Funeral Home.
