JAMES D. KISSELL JR.

James David ``Buzz'' Kissell Jr., 42, of the 7400 block of Major Ave., died Thursday, July 18, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General.

He was an engineering student at Old Dominion University and a member of The Civil Engineers Society. Mr. Kissell was born in Lincoln, Neb., and was preceded in death by his father, James David Kissell Sr.

Survivors include a daughter, Erin Allen of Norfolk; his fiancee, Jane Ellen Glasser of Norfolk; his mother, Beverly Rinker Kissell of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Leslie Cronin and her husband, Thomas J. Cronin III, both of Columbia, S.C., and Linda Kissell of Middleburg, Holland; two brothers, Andrew Kissell and his wife, June Kissell, both of Little Chalfont, Bucks, England, U.K., and Benjamin Kissell and his wife, Mary Tom Kissell, both of Raleigh, N.C.; a niece, Apprille Harris of Coronado, Calif.; four nephews, Mitchell and Patrick Van Tilburg, both of Middleburg, Holland, George and Dalton Kissell, both of Little Chalfont, Bucks, England, U.K.

A memorial service will be held in Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Virginia Beach, at 4 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. Julia Dorsey Loomis. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 5181 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach 23462; Lee's Friends, 618 Stockley Gardens, Norfolk 23507; The American Leukemia Society, P.O.
