Beatrice Bertha Nance, 90, of the 3200 block of Dogwood Drive, died July 20, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.
Mrs. Nance, the widow of Fred Nance, was a Methodist. She was a native of Gibsonville, N.C.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Nance Forehand of Portsmouth; five grandchildren, Keith Nance of Portsmouth, Bonnie Frink of Chesapeake, Vivian Cullins of Suffolk, Alvin Lonnie Forehand Jr. of Stafford, Va., and Steven Forehand of Newport News; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Ned Nance.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Scott Rimer in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. The family will be at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, for visitation Monday from 7 to 8 p.m.
