Jessie Florence Whitehurst, 85, of the 4000 block of Chesswood Drive, died July 20, 1996, in Palm Harbor, Fla.
She was a native of Liverpool, England, and a retired laborer from an assembly line. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Holiday.
Survivors include a daughter, Geraldine Bonnette of Holiday; a son, Marshall E. Whitehurst of Quincy, Mass.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Lamar Sentell in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, today from 7 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the hospice of one's choice.
