Eddie M. ``Buck'' Harris, 62, of the 4000 block of Havenford Ave., died July 18, 1996, in his residence. Mr. Harris was a native of Littleton, N.C.
Survivors include his wife, Queen Harris; two daughters, Jean and Cynthia of New Jersey; three sons, Oliver of New Jersey, Eddie Merrit of Philadelphia and Eddie Hawkins of Baltimore; eight sisters, Lucy H. Falkner, Elnora Ballard and Dorothy Vandarhost, all of Portsmouth, Elizabeth Brinkley and Marie Perkins, both of North Carolina, and the Rev. Nancy McFadden, Eulah Roberson and Bulah Ellis, all of Norfolk; two brothers, Charlie Harris of Baltimore and Henry Harris of Portsmouth; 10 grandchildren; a devoted nephew and niece, Dea and Mrs. Dan Davis of Portsmouth; and a special friend, Elois.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Bethany Church, 5747 Warrenton Ave., Philadelphia. Nicks Funeral Home, Philadelphia, is in charge. Information furnished by Rogers Funeral Home.
