Francis George Maresca, 61, died July 24, 1996, in Hackensack, N.J.
Mr. Maresca retired as chief petty officer from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service. He was a Navy veteran of Vietnam. Also, he was a computer analyst with AT&T, with 18 1/2 years of service.
Survivors include his daughter, Maureen Wood of Louisville, Ky.; a son, David L. Maresca of Chesapeake, Va.; seven sisters, Mary Smith, Etta Howard, Betty Cushing, Ronnie Maino, Barbara Howells, Gloria Gardner and Ray Lussier; four grandchildren, Jeffrey and Ryan Wood, and Lyndsay and Alyson Maresca.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. today, July 29, 1996, in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by Father James F. Mennis, chaplain, USN. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home at 1 p.m. today to greet friends. Military honors will be accorded.
