LaRosa Pope Tillett, 68, of the 800 block of Lincoln St., died July 28, 1996.
Mrs. Tillett, the widow of Ruben E. Tillett Sr., was a nurses aide for 20 years. She was a member of St. Paul C.M.E. Church, Norfolk, and an active member of the Missionary.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Tillett Hill and Charlene Tillett, both of Norfolk; a son, Reuben E. Hill; her parents, Effie Woodruff Pope and Lawyer Pope; three sisters, Georgia Taylor, Irene Stokes, Flossie Taylor; eight grandchildren, Cynthia, Tanya, Christopher, Monica, Latasha, Terrell, Tiffany, Melanie; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by the Rev. T.R. McKenney in St. Paul C.M.E. Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home is in charge.
