Frank Robert James Sr., 71, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 1996.
Mr. James served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, Korean conflict and Vietnam and later retired with 30 years of honorable service to his country. He was a member of Virginia Spirits of Jesus Christ (Iesu No Mitama) in Virginia Beach.
He is survived by his wife, Mitsuko James; a son, Frank Robert James Jr.; a daughter, Frances Roberta James of Washington; and a brother, John David James Jr. of New Jersey.
A graveside service will be held Monday, Aug. 5, 1996, at 1 p.m. in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Norfolk. Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, is in charge.
