Telzie Williams Parker, 89, of the 2500 block of Pruden Blvd., died Aug. 2, 1996, in Autumn Care of Suffolk.
Mrs. Parker, a homemaker, was a native of Nansemond County, Va. She was the widow of Joseph Burnie Parker and a member of Bethlehem Christian Church, Suffolk.
Survivors include three daughters, Shirley P. Rountree and Martha P. Richards, both of Suffolk, and Frances P. Brown of Mesa, Ariz.; a son, James E. Parker of Suffolk; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Lewis Davenport of Suffolk. She was predeceased by her parents, Beulah Pruden Williams and George W. Williams.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Carter Dey in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. The family will receive friends at Harrell Funeral Home, Suffolk, Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and other times at the home of the daughter, Martha P. Richards, 816 Mayflower Drive, Nansemond Gardens, Suffolk.
