Thomas H. Husted Jr., 64, of the 1600 block of Gampoint Court, died Aug. 1, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mr. Husted, a native of Paterson, N.J., retired from the U.S. Marine Corps as a captain after 23 1/2 years. He also worked as a clerk in the box section at Lynnhaven Post Office for 23 years. He was a member and deacon at Beach Fellowship. He served with pride in the Marine Corps and humbleness in the Lord. He was a veteran of Korea.
Survivors include his wife, Edythe Husted; three sons, Thomas, Scott and Richard Husted and their wives; three brothers; and six grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday by Pastor Vinny Losciale in Beach Fellowship. Burial with full military honors will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m.
