Frances Land Hill, 77, died July 30, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Hill was a native of Princess Anne County. She was the daughter of the late Oscar W. Land and Eva Bell Land. She had a great love for her family and for sports.
Survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline H. Williams of Virginia Beach; a son, James D. Hill of Virginia Beach; a brother, Weldon B. Land of Richmond; three grandchilden, Frank T. Williams Jr., Michael L. Williams, both of Virginia Beach, Stephanie F. Williams of Aspen, Colo.; four great-grandchildren, Frank T. Williams III, Colter C. Williams, Brittany M. Williams, Jacqueline C. Williams; and two step grandchildren, Bryan Dugan and Jason Dugan.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 1996 in Willowood Cemetery in Sandbridge by the Rev. Jack E. Davis. There will be a visitation in the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Azheimer's Assocation, 20 Koger Center, Norfolk, Va. 23502. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, are handling arrangements.
