Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found early Friday by a landscaper in Deep Creek.
Police have identified the man as Ronald Wayne Rigdon, 41, of the 800 block of George Washington Highway, said Elizabeth Jones, a Chesapeake police spokeswoman.
He was found fully clothed about 8:30 a.m., partially submerged in rainwater in a grassy ditch along Steel Street near Currie Avenue, Jones said.
Police did not release a cause of death. They are investigating the death as a homicide.
