Two juveniles wanted in connection with a robbery and homicide in Ocean View were arrested Sunday night in Gates County after they were spotted by a sheriff's deputy, police said.
Meanwhile, detectives in Norfolk arrested a third juvenile and charged him with the same crimes.
Warrants had been issued for all three juveniles for the capital murder and robbery of Jesse Cannon, 54, of the 9500 block of 14th Bay St. Cannon was found dead Sunday by a former roommate.
Two 17-year-olds had fled the murder scene in the victim's Chevrolet El Camino. They were spotted along the side of a road in Gates County after the car ran into a ditch. The pair, whose names were not released, chose not to fight the extradition process and were being brought back to Norfolk for a court appearance today, police said.
The third juvenile, a 15-year-old, was arrested in the 9600 block of 11th Bay St. His name was also withheld because of his age.
