Police are looking for a 21-year-old man in connection with an attack on his former girlfriend over the weekend.
Ronald C. DeLoatch, whose last known address was in the 2200 block of E. Washington St., is wanted on charges of malicious wounding, residential burglary with intent to commit malicious wounding and using a knife in a felony.
DeLoatch - who is black, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 155 pounds, with his hair in dreadlocks - was last seen wearing a black tank top and white shorts.
Police spokesman Mike Simpkins said a man entered a house in the 100 block of Day St. through a second-floor window about 3 a.m. Sunday and stabbed a 16-year-old girl several times in the throat.
She was in an intensive care unit of a hospital Monday, police said.
