Elsie Paul Copeland, 83, died Monday, Aug. 5, 1996, in Craven Regional Medical Center. She was a member of Lowland Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Frances P. Lewis of Lowland, N.C., Geneva P. Smith of Wilmar, N.C.; three sons, Colon R. Paul, Rev. Danny L. Paul, both of Chesapeake, Hilton R. Paul of Dunn, N.C.; 13 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in Lowland Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Terry Lewis, Rev. Philip Lewis and Rev. Kenneth Dixon officiating. Burial will be in South Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Norris-Bryant Funeral Home, Alliance, N.C., and other times at the home of Geneva Smith, 680 Wilmar Road, Wilmar, and the home of Frances Lewis, 68 Middle Prong Road, Lowland.
