Margie Van Nostrand Stevens, 66, of 1031 Coastaway Drive, went to be with her Lord, Monday, Aug. 5, 1996.
She was a native of Princess Anne County, and a life-long resident of Virginia Beach. She was the widow of Elliott H. Stevens and was a member of Virginia Beach Pentecostal Church of Christ.
She is survived by three sons, William R. Farren, Walter R. Farren and his wife, Susan P., and David M. Farren, all of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Thelma Hines of Virginia Beach, Seredia Wickline of Richmond, and Tinie Varner of Raleigh, N.C.; two brothers, Herbert Van Nostrand of Virginia Beach, and Irvin Van Nostrand of Petersburg, Va.; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 1996, in the Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Avenue Chapel, by Pastor Desi W. Allen. Burial will follow in Nimmo United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Cardiac Unit, Virginia Beach General Hospital, 1060 First Colonial Road, Virginia Beach, 23454.
