Ralph S. Stapleton, 74, of the 400 block of Sea Pointe, died Aug. 7, 1996, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Stapleton was a native of Scott County, Va. He was a retired insurance agent with Kellam-Eaton-Huey Insurance Co. with 30 years of service. He was a member of the Red Wing Golf Association.
Survivors include three daughters, Amy S. Martin of Havelock, N.C., Patricia S. Bridgers of Portsmouth, Mary S. Radcliffe of Virginia Beach; a son, Michael F. Stapleton of Chesapeake; two sisters, Catherine S. Johnston of Church Hill, Tenn., Mary Ellen S. Schiff of New Palestine, Ind.; two brothers, Lawrence Stapleton of Church Hill, Tenn., Gene Stapleton of Rutledge, Tenn.; and nine grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 1996 at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, by Pastor John E. Dooley.
