Betty M. McCollum died Aug. 6, 1996, in her 68th year.
She was the beloved wife of the late Harold McCollum; loving mother of Daniel and Hugh McCollum of Virginia Beach and Larie Ann McCollum of Florida; loving daughter of Ila Marie Mitchell. Mrs. McCollum was a devoted member of the Eastern Star Association.
Family will receive friends at Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, today from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be Monday at the New Virginia Cemetery, Osceola, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad would be greatly appreciated.
