Ada G. Clark
NORFOLK - Ada Gay Clark, of the 2700 block of Myrtle Ave., died Aug. 2, 1996, in a local hospital.
A native of Pitt County, N.C., she was the widow of William Clark. Mrs. Clark was a retired dietician of the Norfolk Public Schools.
Survivors include two daughters, Margie Gay Eley of Norfolk, Deloris Gay Cherry of Chesapeake; three sons, Joseph Gay Sr., Morgan Robinson, both of Norfolk, Chester Gay Jr. of Portsmouth; two sisters, Esper Hayes of New York, Frances Rouse of Farmville, N.C.; a brother, J. Joyner of New Haven, Conn.; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Ernest Clark of Chesapeake and William Clark Jr. of Michigan.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday in Mt. Zion Community Church by the Rev. Willie McNair. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park.
