Nellie R. ``Kitty'' Nottingham, 90, of the 5600 block of Wesleyan Drive, died Aug. 6, 1996, in her residence.
She was a retired clerk for Norfolk City Hall. Born in Louisville, Ky., she was the widow of Stuart M. Nottingham and was a member of Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include three nieces, Mary Pebworth of Virginia Beach, Lucille Ritter of Woodbridge, Va., Ruth Gardner of Memphis, Tenn.; five nephews, Donald E. Gardner and Jerry Gardner, both of Memphis, Nat Nottingham of Painter, Va., Stuart Nottingham of Alexandria, Mason Nottingham of Fairfax, Va.; two sisters-in-law, Lucy Sawyer of Virginia Beach, Ruth Hill of Marion, Ky.; and many great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by Dr. John R. Monroe in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Royster Memorial Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8 p.m.
